Moeder natuur zit vol verrassingen.

Happy Monday Folks! Tonight’s release is titled “Two Faced” – Order 735 – featuring one of my most unique waves to date. If you let your imagination run wild, you should be able to make out two distinct faces in the wave. Spoiler Alert Below: For those who don’t want to spend hours trying to find them both, I’ll give you a tip. Find the smaller face first. Then look at the overall wave and use the eyes of the smaller face as nostrils for the larger face. Let me know in the comments below if you see them both. Enjoy! #facesinwaves #greatlakeswaves @surfthegreats @magicalportstanley

Happy Friday Folks!! My latest release is titled “October Gail” – Order 730 – featuring a rogue wave blasting up out of the choppy Lake Erie waters. When cold gail force winds whip across the warm open waters, it makes for some truly dynamic conditions. I often come home from the lake bruised and battered after taking a constant pelting from sand, debris and water. Twice now, I’ve gotten frost bite on my hands from the extremely harsh conditions. Is it all worth it? Yup! Be sure to check out the sample photo of the 40x30” canvas hanging in a bedroom. #lakeeriewaves #greatlakesproud #greatlakeswaves #surfthegreats

Happy Sunday Folks! My latest release was captured on my birthday last week. This one is titled “Clam Shell” – Order 727- featuring a powerful Lake Erie Wave feathering out in the shape of a shell. The setting sun created a beautiful highlight on the face of the wave and made the storm clouds turn almost black. #lakeeriewaves #greatlakeswaves #lakeerielove

Happy Thursday Folks! Tonight’s release is titled “Emergence” – Order 702 – featuring a curtain like wave rising up from the dark Lake Erie waters below. A small watercraft or boat would be engulfed if it were ever caught under a wave of this magnitude. Enjoy! #lakeeriemonsters #lakeeriewaves #freshwaterwaves

Happy Saturday Folks! Here is my latest piece! This one is titled "Twister" – Order 696 – featuring another beauty in my Lake Erie Wave Series. If you've never seen her angry, it should be a must on your bucket list! Lake Erie, the shallowest of the five great lakes can produce some incredible waves during a wind storm. The conditions are not easy to photograph in, but the results are often worth the beating that you and your camera take. If you didn't catch my post / poll question yesterday on Facebook, have a quick look on my FB page for all of the details. If you are a 2018 Scenic Calendar holder, you have likely been missing out on some great deals thus far! For example, this month (May), is a BOGO event where you buy one 12×18" print and receive another of your choosing absolutely FREE! It's a $90 value! Read the FB post from yesterday to find out more. Happy Thursday Folks! My latest release is titled “Turbulence” – Order 686 – photographed on Lake Erie, the shallowest of the five Great Lakes. When the winds pick up, this lake can go from still to dangerous in a very short period of time. If you’ve ever been caught out on the lake in one of these storms, you know how scary it can be. With that being said, the formations she produces when she’s angry are absolutely beautiful. I love capturing a split second in time and admiring the various frozen liquid formations. Water is such a huge part of my art. Enjoy! #greatlakesproud #surfontario #surfthegreats #lakeeriewaves #lakeerie #greatlakesmade
