9-jarige baas stuurt sollicitatie voor Guardian Of The Galaxy naar NASA

Jack Davis is negen jaar oud en weet al precies wat hij wilt worden; Guardian Of The Galaxy. Deze kleine baas is gek van alles wat met space te maken heeft en stuurde een sollicitatiebrief naar NASA voor de functie Planetary Protection Officer.

“I have seen almost all the space and alien movies I can see,” vertelt Jack in zijn brief. “I’m great at video games. I am young, so I can learn to think like an Alien.”

Zijn geniale brief gaat dusdanig viral na het plaatsen op Reddit, dat de directeur van NASA met een briljant antwoord komt. Hij spoort Jack en de rest van de wereld aan om alle kennis over het heelal te vergaren zodat we op een dag echt Guardians Of The Galaxy zijn. “It’s about protecting Earth from tiny microbes when we bring back samples from the Moon, asteroids and Mars. It’s also about protecting other planets and moons from our germs as we responsibly explore the Solar System.”
