De tactische first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was de meest gedownloade videogame van het afgelopen jaar op PlayStation. De geluksvogels die een PS5 hebben kunnen scoren voordat deze uitverkocht was en ook de PS4-spelers hebben massaal het oorlogsspel gespeeld. Het meest gedownloade gratis spel was de battle royale-style Call of Duty: Warzone.

De populairste games

PS4-gebruikers kochten Grand Theft Auto V, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare en zowel de nieuwe editie van NBA 2K, als die van vorig jaar. Een verrassende plek was Minecraft op nr. 4, een meer dan tien jaar oude titel die zeer weinig grafische upgrades onderging voor zijn 3D-objecten.
