America first, maar wie is second?

De video van Arjan Lubach waarin hij Nederland voorstelt aan Donald Trump is wereldwijd viral gegaan. Nu geldt die video als voorbeeld voor een hoop andere landen. Trump belooft plechtig Amerika altijd voorop te stellen. De strijd om het zilver is nu definitief losgebarsten.

Zo zijn er naar het voorbeeld van Lubach meerdere landen aan de slag gegaan om de steun van Trump te winnen. Ook zij doen dit met een flinke dosis humor en zelfspot. Uiteraard is de versie van Lubach “the best” en zouden wij op plek twee moeten staan. Maar daar zijn onze concurrenten om de tweede plek het niet mee eens. Wij zijn in ieder geval benieuwd of Trump zelf er ook om kan lachen.

Wij kunnen vooral de Duitse versie erg waarderen. Die mogen het brons wel hebben dan.

Duitsland
